DUE TO COVID-19 OUR KANOHI KI TE KANOHI HUI HAVE BEEN SUSPENDED FOR THE REMAINDER OF 2020.
We have a very hardy group of kaumātua who get together regularly on a Monday from 10.00am to 12.00noon in Whare Raumati, Hīkoikoi, 24d Marine Parade, Petone. There is a core group of 12 kaumātua who come along each week. It is a great way for them to socialise with one another, reminisce and share stories, have a good laugh and a bit of fun. In the summertime they might be out in the sunshine tending to the gardens onsite or getting involved in an organised activity. It is a great opportunity to catch up with old friends and whānau. All kaumātua in the area are most welcome to come along and participate.
