DUE TO COVID-19 OUR KANOHI KI TE KANOHI HUI HAVE BEEN SUSPENDED FOR THE REMAINDER OF 2020.
We have a very hardy group of kaumātua who get together regularly on a Monday from 10.30am to 2.00pm at Raumati, Hīkoikoi, 24d Marine Parade, Petone. There is a core group of about 12 kaumātua who come along each week. It is a great way for kaumātua to socialise with other kaumātua, remember and share stories, have a good laugh, and a bit of fun. In the summertime they might be out in the sunshine tending to the gardens onsite or getting involved in one of the organised activities. It is a great opportunity to catch up with old friends and whānau and for kaumātua in the area, you are more than welcome to come along and participate.
